zManipulator v1.0b

Hi!

long time since my last post
well, let's start by new plugin, zManipulator
3 in 1:  you can Move, Rotate & Scale your object with the same tool.
you can also, move the object axis to a vertex, by holding Ctrl  and Left Mouse click.
to center the axis again, just hold Ctrl, and click in an empty space.
it's a beta version, and contains some bugs.
of course, i'm still working on it ^^

>> Download zManipulator v1.0b

hope you'll find it useful!

    1. unzip zManipulator, and copy it in the c4d plugin folder (C:\Program Files\MAXON\CINEMA 4D R13\plugins)

  3. That's at least 2 ideas that are really very very nice.

since it's a beta and you're still working on it,
this tool would be even better if you could make it:
    - show the Values
    - support Shift for quantising values
    - support psr on a Plane ( Axis Bands)

    great stuff,
    d

  4. Thanks so much, looks super useful.

I'm having an issue in R12.048, wondering if anyone else is encountering this...when I activate ZM, I see only one element in the HUD (the red x-scale cube).

    thanks in advance

  5. Thanks a lot for this plugin. Using this with C4D R13 on W7 x64 and it works fine, so far.
A little bit of flickering during rotuion - perhaps the angle of my using solve the "problem" (not really a problem, i should say)... also the usage of LMB is a little bit tricky, but this should can be I'm new on this plugin.
At the end: very "funny" [ ;) ] stuff - I will continue with this :D

    Best regards

  9. I just installed the plugin. Very cool idea. I'm on a Mac using R13 and can't get "undo" to work when using the tool. For example, if I rotate an object and hit command Z (undo on a Mac) nothing happens. But if I switch to another tool then undo works.

  10. Rubber

In R13, MAC, using the resize don´t change de size . it changes the scale!
    The idea is great anyway!

  12. i was looking for that a long time. i have a bug where the object jumps a little bit when moving on z axis.

It would be great if you could add quantization and a value information.

Bring it one step further and i would pay for it!
